Our Reading Programme

We are passionate about reading at Thurstable School! We support our students on their reading journey from whatever their starting point. Through the power of reading, we want to inspire a generation of readers, opening up new worlds and experiences. 

Our aim is for all students to become fluent, independent readers with confidence in their reading ability. We also want all our readers to choose to read for pleasure whether that be books, blogs, magazines or websites. 

The school library is based in the top floor of D block and is open at break and lunchtimes.
