Groups of secondary students will work to create a solution for a problem within their community using elements of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Student groups will be paired with a community member that is studying or working in STEAM to help them create a proposal and presentation of their idea. Each group's proposal and presentation will be judged on their knowledge of a community issue, creative problem solving, and potential of execution.
As there work is being judged, students and their STEAM mentors will be able to interact with other students and STEAM professionals during an interactive exhibition fair!
*Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided for all participants!
