Welcome to ThunderCats Fencing

ThunderCats Fencing is the varsity and junior varsity high school fencing program for students at Libertyville High School and Vernon Hills High School. We bring together athletes who want to try something different, compete as part of a team, and experience one of the fastest, most strategic sports around.

Whether you have never picked up a weapon or already have fencing experience, ThunderCats welcomes students of all skill levels. Our program builds speed, focus, confidence, discipline, and resilience—on and off the strip.

Fencing is an individual sport with a true team atmosphere. Every bout challenges you to think quickly, stay composed under pressure, and support your teammates as we represent District 128 together.

No experience is required—just bring your energy, curiosity, and ThunderCats pride.
