Foil Coach

Grant Carlton began fencing competitively at age 11, fencing out of Houston, Texas. Representing Salle Mauro local and national teams he achieved a USAF “B” rating.

Trained internationally at Racing Club (Paris, France) and at Olympic faculty at FC Tauberbishofsheim (Tauberbishofsheim, Germany) and with the Russian National Team (St. Petersburg, Russia).

He fenced in FIE sanctioned competition in Germany.

Awarded a scholarship to Penn State University fencing team, Grant, his career was cut short due to a wrist injury.

He plans to train and return to competition in the Veteran 40 classification.
