Welcome message

Welcome to the Throckmorton Collegiate Independent School District (ISD) Superintendent's page!

It is my honor and privilege to introduce our school district and community to you. Whether you are a long-time Throckmorton resident, a parent considering Throckmorton Collegiate ISD for your children, or a prospective team member, I hope you consider joining the Greyhound family. With schools rich in tradition and pride, possessing an unmatched and unwavering work ethic from students and staff alike, supported by a community whose core beliefs are entrenched in family-centered values, small class sizes, and a model based on Early College, Throckmorton Collegiate ISD is the education destination for you. I encourage you to look at the next page, at the TLP, or the Throckmorton Learner Profile. This profile guides our staff in ALL instruction and beliefs.

With "Excellence in Education", Throckmorton Collegiate ISD provides excellent choice in a school district for families and educators seeking the many benefits of a small, vibrant town , small town values, high expectations and a precedence for success in college and career. High expectations for students, competitive co- and extra-curricular programs, combined with a close proximity to several institutions of post-secondary education, Throckmorton Collegiate ISD offers unique opportunities for students, educators, and parents seeking excellence in education.

I hope you will visit our schools and community and see, firsthand, the great things that are happening in our Prekindergarten through Grade 12 classrooms. Just recently, Throckmorton High School was designated a Texas Education Agency (TEA) Early Collegiate School." This means when your student exits Throckmorton High School, they will have an opportunity to earn an Associate's of Arts or Science Degree at no charge to the parent or student. Throckmorton also prepares our students to receive industry certification in a wide array of areas. Just this year, we opened our Montessori Academy, the only Montessori Academy in Region 9. I would love to explain more about Montessori if you have a little one ages 3-5.

Supported by a forward-thinking, student-centered Board of Trustees, staff, and community, I know my family and I are blessed to be a part of Throckmorton Collegiate ISD. We are here to serve you. Work Hard, Be Nice is my motto. Please feel free to contact the school if you are interested in attending or have questions/concerns.

Go Greyhounds!
