St Cecilia - Made with Clipchamp (1).mp4Year 5 worked with Alex from Primary Junk Workshop to create a pieces of rhythmic music using recycled musical tubes that made different sounds depending on their length. They had great fun, and learnt how to perform cross rhythms in time all together, as well as use dynamics to make their music sound exciting.
Year 5 went litter picking in South Norwood Country Park to see the biodiversity - which was very clean! So we also went to Woodside Green. We found so much litter, and even got lots of 'Thank Yous' from passers by.

They then cleaned the litter under the guidance of Norman from 'South Norwood Junk Action' to create a beautiful piece of art that was shown at our Arts Exhibition
