Katie at Au Pets is wonderful! I have been using her services for a few weeks now and she is the perfect mix of totally professional and warm. She treats my dog like family :-) One time I needed some help at the last minute and she was able to step in and take my dog out for a super long walk on a day where I would be gone for most of the day. My dog is a border collie so Katie knows he needs a lot of exercise and they walked for 3.5 miles (which is a perfect amount for him)! She always sends a cute photo, too. Katie is very easy to work with and schedule visits with. I highly recommend Au Pets!

If I could give Au Pets (and Katie!!) 500 hundred stars instead of 5 I would. She was amazing with our two cats. My husband and I went out of town for 4 days. We have two cats, ages 15 and 4. They are so important and dear to us, and not necessarily the easiest beasts. The older cat is amazing and loves everyone, but he's older and his litter box leavings these days are...not as firm as they once were. It can make cleaning out the litter box a daunting experience. He also takes pills twice a day. The younger cat is scared of everyone, so we weren't too worried about him being a nuisance. In fact, we told Katie she would never see him! At any rate, Katie did the most incredible job in the world taking care of them. Not only did she text us daily about them, she also sent some pictures. What a nice thing when you are away from pets! And on top of that her notes were fun and engaging while being informative. Katie was able to give our older cat his meds AND even saw our younger cat multiple times. We have photographic evidence or we wouldn't believe it :)

It's clear Katie was caring for our cats as if they were her own. We felt SO comfortable being away from home knowing Katie and Au Pets were taking care of our cats. I can tell you from experience...the next time you go out of town your pets can be in no finer hands!

I recently hired Katie (Au Pets) to come twice a day three times a week to walk my older dog and new puppy. Puppies require a lot of work, patience, and consistency compared to older dogs who are already trained. Usually with walkers they just come and walk and go. The difference with Au Pets is they have taken the time to get to know the commands I use to continue the training process with my puppy while I am not there. The response has been amazing when I walk my dogs I can tell they are learning and improving telling that someone besides myself is working with them. Katie has also been very flexible as new commands are learned to integrate with her walk routine.

They communicate after each walk how it went and give me an update. Always keeping me informed like for example if my dog is not feeling well or having problems with the bathroom. With this kind of communication and transparency I no longer worry about my dogs when I am not there.

Overall I couldn't be happy with Au Pets! They are the best pet sitters I've used and I've used quite a few before this one.

The Bay View neighborhood is very lucky to have the magical Katie Adams in residence, available to walk and care for pets through her Au Pets service! When we lived nearby, Katie was our first choice to love and care for our cats when we were away. She would send us short videos every day of our happy cats, and even charmed our scaredy cat. I could tell when I first met her that she understands the needs of animals and people, and she treats all with respect and care. When she was in charge, we could enjoy our time away without worrying about our furry family at home.
