KLONDIKE SMOKEY CITY LEGACY MUSEUM

I collaborated with Klondike Smokey City Community Development Corporation and Klondike Community Land Trust to repurpose an abandoned day care into seven exhibits sharing the histories of the Klondike and Smokey City communities. Our museum has gone through three iterations, each redesigned in response to how residents engaged with and contributed to the archives. I worked closely with resident leaders and community development partners to curate the exhibits, design the floor plans and interpretive panels, and plan pop-up museum days.

This work is part of the Klondike Memory Project, sharing our findings and inviting residents to contribute their stories and their visions for the future of the neighborhood.
