Lauren M. Gunderson (b. 1982), one of the most frequently performed contemporary playwrights and recipient of numerous dramatic awards, has more than twenty plays to her credit, commissioned and produced over the past two decades. Moreover, the author has been a singular force in play creation focused on female figures in history, science and literature. The Revolutionists, written in 2017, has since been widely performed throughout the country, garnering both critical and audience praise. One reviewer commented: “… a darkly sophisticated comedy that dances on the guillotine blade’s edge between laughter and political violence. …” (newplayexcnange.org / Ian Thai ). A few of Gunderson’s more recognized works include: Emilie:La Marquise Du Châtalet Defends Her Life Tonight (2010) and Silent Sky (2015), both produced at South Coast Repertory (Los Angeles, CA); The Amazing Adventures of Doctor Wonderful and Her Dog! (2011), produced at The Kennedy Center (Washington, DC); Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley (2017), produced at Northlight Theatre (Chicago, IL); The Half-Life of Marie Curie at Minetta Lane Theatre (NYC) (2019) and at TheatreSquared (2020/virtual).
CATHERINE A. PAPPAS has been practicing theater for over 40 years in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Philadelphia. Locally, she has a number of directorial credits at The Stagecrafters Theater which include Ride Down Mount Morgan, A View From the Bridge, Room Service, Coyote on a Fence, Noises Off, Intimate Apparel, Almost Maine, The Fantasticks, Ruined, All My Sons, Clever Dick, Of Mice and Men, Clybourne Park and Spinning Into Butter. She has also appeared as an actress in Book of Days, Ravenscroft, The Champagne Charlie Stakes, Red Herring, Plaza Suite, Superior Donuts, Talk Radio and in staged readings of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Three Tall Women, Old Times and Marvin's Room. She holds a B.F.A in Theater from the University of Wisconsin and is Project Manager at Ticket Philadelphia which handles ticketing and customer service for The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Philly Pops, The Philadelphia Ballet and Broadway Philadelphia. At The Stagecrafters she has served as the Director of Marketing, and is currently on the Board of Directors serving as VP of Production and Box Office Manager.

BROWNING STERNER (Stage Manager)… has performed in The Insanity of Mary Girard (Fury) at Allens Lane Theater; in Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol (Narrator) and in several films and Christmas shows for Casabuena Cultural Productions. Browning’s theatrical work at The Stagecrafters Theater includes Lighting Designer for Witness for the Prosecution, Much Ado About Nothing, On Golden Pond, and Mauritius; Stage Manager for Shakespeare in Hollywood; work at other theaters includes Stage Manager for The Little Mermaid and Properties Manager for The Pirates of Penzance at Theater & Kids drama school in Lansdale.
