These subjects are compulsory as part of the National Curriculum for England and make up a Core 60% of the timetable through Years 10 & 11.
English Language & English Literature 2xGCSE Both subjects delivered over 8 lessons/fortnight
Maths GCSE 8 lessons/fortnight
Science Dual Award* 2xGCSEs 10 lessons/fortnight
Ethics & Philosophy GCSE 2 lessons/fortnight
Physical Education non examined 2 lessons/fortnight
Physical, Social & Health Education (PSHE) non examined delivered through bespoke tutor sessions
*If Triple Science is opted for this becomes x3 GCSEs and 15 lessons/fortnight
