Treviglas Academy has been so welcoming for me as an ITT student. All the staff have been incredibly supportive over the last half term, ensuring that I have got everything I need to be successful throughout my placement. The staff, support staff and pupils have been welcoming and I feel like a part of the school. The quality of my training has been outstanding and the support has been so crucial in my development as a teacher. I have learnt so much from each member of the department and they have helped me to grow a lot and improve my subject knowledge, confidence, and teaching expertise. I have been excited to attend every day and practise teaching as a profession. I have been offered a broad range of experiences and challenges during this placement which has helped me to develop my teaching further. I have had a range of lessons, from teaching solo lessons, team teaches and observing expert teachers in their practise. My mentors have been incredibly supportive throughout my ITT placement, they have been there for me every step of the way and they have encouraged me to succeed over the last half term, they have helped me to develop my confidence which has improved my teaching. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to do an ITT placement with Treviglas Academy, I have had so many highlights whilst being here and I look forward to applying what I have learnt into my career.
