ABOUT THE WALKING TOUR

This self-guided walking tour is intended to teach visitors and residents of Bloomington about places in the city that are historically and culturally important. You will learn about the history of each location as well as the role it currently serves in the community. 

Since the tour is self-guided, there is no official staring or ending location. Simply look at the map to see all the designated spots and choose which ones you'd like to visit in whatever order you prefer!

When you arrive at a location, look for a small poster containing a QR code. Scan the QR code and it will bring you to a website containing information about that spot! 

Each website was written and designed by the Middle School students of the Bloomington Project School. They chose the locations for the tour, conducted online research, communicated with business owners and managers, and then finally put together their websites.
