Please take the time to read all the information provided below to help us run a successful & safe competition.
On arrival at the stadium you will be signposted to one of two car parks. The Athletes car park (C) is beyond the Officials & Volunteers car park (B). Please DO NOT PARK in car park (A) as this car park is for users of the leisure centre.
Athletes will enter the stadium via Gate A, the main entrance to the stadium at the front of the centre. This is a short walk around the external perimeter of the stadium.
Athletes will then need to proceed to the registration kiosk to collect your bib number. This is located at the event control centre next to the finish line. Athletes competing in throws events will need to have there implement checked (this can be done inside the main clubhouse once you've collected your bib number)
Please ensure you have collected your bib number at least one hour before the start of you event.
Facilities that will be available include:
Toilets & Baby Change
First Aid Services
Stadium Cafe and BBQ Area
Grandstand
Changing Facilities (Inc Showers)
We appreciate all athletes wish to complete their own uninterrupted warm up & cool down. Where possible and appropriate try to make use of space outside of the field of play. We are lucky enough to be situated in a large park with plenty of open spaces and paths to run on. If you do need to warm up & cool down within the stadium, Please ensure you observe current competitions taking place and follow the instructions of staff & officials.
On top of our normal procedures, to help fight against COVID-19 stadium crew will be on hand throughout the day providing additional cleaning and hygiene steps. These include but are not limited to:
Spraying start & finish areas between races where appropriate.
Cleaning toilets & seating areas more regularly.
Cleaning all equipment before and after use.
Marshals reminding guests of social distancing where appropriate.
We no longer provide paper results for people to view whilst at the stadium. All results will be displayed on screens located around the stadium and directly to the entry4sports site for you to view. Screens are located underneath the stadium clock and inside cafe area. In addition results will also be displayed on the stadium scoreboard located at the 200m start. Our new onsite touchscreen results feature allows you to scroll through results in real time seeing both results and photo finish images.
Results are then sent to Power of 10 the same day once the competition has finished.
To reduce queues and assist the smooth running of the event we are asking all athletes to bring the following:
Pins (minimum of 8) These are available to purchase at the stadium for 50p if you don't have any.
Face Covering should you wish to use one
Starting blocks if you have your own (Please note some of our events use the start information system which require you to use the stadium blocks)
Throws implement if you have your own
We kindly ask that before leaving you place any rubbish in the bins provided and leave your area in a presentable manner.
