We have sourced skilled, fun instructors and hosts who truly understand the dynamics of hen parties. They work hard to give you a high-quality, memorable experience that fits the relaxed feel of our site.

However, please don’t feel the need to fill every moment. The setting itself provides a beautiful natural playground that we want you to have time to truly enjoy, without a hectic agenda. For the best weekend balance, if you want to add an experience, we suggest choosing just one activity for the Saturday.

Saturday Morning Yoga

Relax into your weekend with a 90-minute session led by our qualified instructor, Charlotte. Designed for all abilities, this class focuses on a gentle flow to leave you feeling completely recharged. Enjoy your final Savasana to the sound of skylarks singing in our peaceful, scenic setting.

Self-Led Mat Hire

- Have a yogi in your group? Lead your own private session at your own pace. We provide all the mats you need.

Sassy Sculptures

Relaxed Clay Modeling in the Cosy Cabin

Get hands-on with clay in this playful session celebrating the female form! No artistic experience is needed—just bring your sense of humor. Shape your masterpiece, then embellish it with beads and charms to create a cheeky memento of your weekend.

We provide all the premium supplies, and you set the pace. We set everything up for your group in our Cosy Cabin, creating a warm, comfortable, and completely relaxed space where you are free to chat, laugh, and create at your own leisure with zero pressure.

Added Extra: Free Hints & Tips! While this is a self-guided session, we are am always on hand to offer helpful hints, tips, and creative ideas free of charge to help get you started.

Optional Upgrade:

Add a Private Tutor: If you would prefer a professional to guide you through the sculpting process step-by-step, you can add a dedicated instructor for a 90-minute workshop for an additional £100 flat fee for the group.

Self-Guided Canvas Sessions

Relaxed Painting in the Willow Dome

If you are looking for a creative activity without the rigid schedule or strict step-by-step instructions of a traditional workshop, this is designed for you.

We provide the premium supplies, and you set the pace. When the weather is fine, we clip the canvases directly into the frame of our beautiful Willow Dome—creating a unique, breezy, and completely relaxed outdoor space.

Your group is free to start whenever you like, chat, and create completely at your own leisure with zero pressure. It is the perfect, fuss-free afternoon for catching up and spending quality time together.

Drum Circle

A 2-hour workshop of primal beats. Go Dynamite provides everything you need to connect with the music and get everyone moving. It’s a high-energy, feel-good session guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

The Experience: A guided workshop where you’ll learn to play together as a group.

'Old School’ Sports Day - £40 per group

One of the best (and cheapest) way to have some fun. Take advantage of our open spaces and host your own sports day. It’s a self-guided session that lets you play at your own pace.

What’s Included: We provide a kit with hessian sacks, three-legged race ties, a tug-of-war rope, hula hoops, cones, balls, tweek pong and fancy dress props.

Cozy Cinema

Create your own private cinema night right on-site. Hire our projector setup for a cozy, exclusive screening with the group. It’s the perfect surprise option for playing a "Mr. & Mrs." quiz, a nostalgic video montage for the Bride-to-Be, or just relaxing together.

What’s Included:

Film Choice: Bring your own favorite movie/montage, or choose from our curated selection of 'girlie' classics we keep on-site.
Seasonal Availability: Please note, this experience is exclusively available for September stays when the evenings get dark early enough for the perfect silver-screen atmosphere.

Other Suggestions

Create your own Simple Indoor Games

A wise backup for a rainy day. Our huts feature beautiful cedar banquet tables and log burners, the ideal setting for getting cozy together if the weather is unfavourable.

We recommend having a game or two organized just in case, so you can make the most of the indoor space and keep the fun going.

Visit Faringdon

Only a couple of miles from the site, a sleepy town, but has some good selection of charity shops for a Scavenger Hunt game and a couple of tea rooms.

Feeling Adventurous?

Why not try one of the many water sports on offer at The Cotswold Water Park or Canoe and Kayak hire from Lechlade.
There is also Horse Riding very near to the site.

Walks

The Magical White Horse Hill is really worth a hike up, unless you are super enthusiastic it is best to drive there (3 miles) and then hike to the top, the views are well worth it.

If staying in May, The Bluebells at Badbury Hill shouldn’t be missed. We can also aprovide you with an OS map once at the site and give you different suggestions for walks

Payment for all the above is added to your invoice except where specified.
We do not allow strippers or ‘butlers in the buff’ but if you do have an entertainment you particularly want then please check with us first, no unauthorised entertainers are allowed on site without permission from The Oxford Yurt
