Is a scholarship founded in honor of the class of 2012 alums. It provides a one time $1,000 scholarship to two seniors at Stephen F. Austin High School.

How to Apply?
In order for you to submit your scholarship application online you must:
Be a senior enrolling at an accredited College or University for the 2026 Fall semester.
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

Submit a transcript
Upload a digital form of your transcript through our online portal
or
Email your transcript to apply@themustangvoice.org before the application deadline with a subject of:
ScholarshipTranscript_Full Name and Last Name_2026_Student ID

We require an essay. Consider preparing your essay before starting the online application process. Once you start the online application you must finish it in one sitting you can't save it and finish it later.
Prompt: Write an essay in which you describe your need for this scholarship. Explain how this scholarship will help you make a change in your community. You have a 500 word minimum and a1000 word maximum.

The nonprofit corporation of The Mustang Voice is a public charity organized for any or all lawful purposes for which nonprofit corporations may be formed including but not limited to the allocation and distribution of funds for scholarships to members of the graduating senior class of Stephen F. Austin High School located in the Houston Independent School District; 1700 Dumble St. Houston, TX 77023. The allocation of the funds will also be used to oversee and make the operations of the organization possible.
