Intervention Strategy

At the UTC we support students by targeting intervention wherever necessary. This take place in various forms, after school weekly tuition sessions, half term holiday practice sessions, and funded resource programmes from external agencies.
There will be four rounds of bespoke interventions for Year 11 students. Each round will run for 6 weeks, taking place directly after school for one hour.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday - Maths, Engineering, German
Tuesday - English, History, German
Wednesday - N/A
Thursday - Science, Enterprise (Business), Computing, PE
Friday - Art
Students have been selected for the first sessions, as per the letter sent to all parents in September.
Teachers may be offering additional intervention sessions during school holidays throughout the year and if your child is selected to attend, you will receive a letter with the subjects/dates being offered.
