Meet Your Librarian

My name is Mrs. Durham and I am excited to be your librarian this year! 2023-2024 will be my 9th year as librarian at TKA and my 15th as a school librarian. I graduated from Carson-Newman University in 2004 with a BA in Religion/Church Recreation and a minor in Baptist Studies. In 2009, I completed my Masters in Information Science with School Library Media Certification at The University of Tennessee. Before all that, I walked where you walk as a student at TKA. I attended from 6th-12th grade. This school has such a special place in my heart and I am thankful for the opportunity to serve and support you in any way I can!
