The intro to CS course aims to provide opportunities for creative expression through programming.
The course requires to plan, design, create and evaluate three different applications throughout the semester.
For each application, you need to do four things really well:
Become an expert in your problem (we call this Inquiry and Analysis)
Create a really good plan to solve your problem (we call this Developing Ideas)
Be a true coder and make good changes when the need arises (we call this Creating the Solution)
Figure out if you solved the problem you set out to solve (we call this Evaluation)
This process goes in line with both the MYP Design cycle and the Systems Development Life Cycle
All projects are assessed using the Computer Science specific MYP Design Rubric.
