During all holidays other than Christmas Break & March Break the residence will remain open
If any resident plans on staying on campus during a holiday they will be on their own for food
We will have one scheduled shuttle to assist residents in getting the groceries they need for the holiday weekend they plan to stay on campus. The shuttle date and time will be communicated to the residents a week before the upcoming holiday.
Residents may have access to the staff kitchen in the basement and can cook their meals
They must first get permission from the Head of Residence before being allowed to use it
They need to sign up for the certain hours that they plan on using it and need to text the residence staff on duty 24 hours in advance to inform them of their plans
They must follow the rules and expectations that are in place and posted in the kitchen
If they cannot follow the rules or leave the space a mess they then will lose the privilege and access
The Head of Residence needs to be made aware of all holiday travel plans at least two weeks before via email
If your student-athlete is planning on flying then the Head of Residence needs to be forwarded their travel itinerary with ample amount of time
The residence provides a shuttle service to and from the airport on scheduled travel days that can be found on the Residence Calendar in the Additional Resources Tab
There is only one drop-off or pick-up on the scheduled departure and arrival days
The drop-off and pick-up times are determined based on all the student's travel itineraries
Once weekly, after school, there is a shuttle that takes residents to a local shopping complex in order to get anything they need
Shopping complex includes:
Walmart
Canadian tire
Best Buy
Bank
Home Hardware
Dollarama
