Hello delegates!
My name is Nathan Libby, and I'll be your chair for this fun general assembly at HagueMUN IV! I am a senior in high school this year. I’ve been doing Model UN since my sophomore year. So far, I’ve been to conferences at Boston University, the University of Virginia, and Old Dominion University. I have a passion for geopolitics and world cultures, which is why MUN piqued my interest. When I'm not in a committee room delegating, I’m out running or sailing! I’m an avid fish connoisseur, with a beta fish at home named Oscar. Last year, I was supposed to chair a crisis committee for HagueMUNIII, but I qualified for a sailing regatta in another state, so I was busy with that. Due to my absence last year, I’ve never chaired a committee before, but I promise I'll do my best and we’ll have lots of fun!

Hello Delegates!
My name is Jaslyn Proctor, and I am super excited to co-chair at HagueMUN IV. I am a junior at the Hague School, and this is my second year in the Model UN program. Last year, I attended MUN conferences at the University of Virginia and Boston University, and I plan to attend more national and international conferences this year. Model UN has taught me valuable skills in public speaking, research, and collaboration. I have especially enjoyed connecting with students from across the country who share a passion for global issues. Outside of school, you can usually find me at my dance studio. I train and compete with a pre-professional dance company, which is my favorite way to unwind after a long school day. At HagueMUN, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful debate, think critically, and propose innovative solutions to some of the most pressing challenges we face. Our general assembly will discuss global health issues from preparing for future pandemics to the ethics of human gene editing. I am looking forward to hearing your ideas and watching you grow as delegates. See you in October!
Sincerely,
Jaslyn Proctor
