We're trying to keep it simple; we want you, at a table in The Swan, with a drink and a warm, delicious meal.

  • Do I get to reserve a table and for how long?

We’ll figure out the best seating arrangements based on the total number of diners and the size of their party. Speak to the Green Canteen staff at the pub and they’ll gladly show you to a table.

  • What happens if there are no tables available?

We’re pretty sure a table will always come up, but if there is absolutely no way to seat a party of diners, they may be asked to grab a drink and wait a few minutes. We’ll only deliver your meals once you're seated and ready to eat. Alternatively, there is The School House, which will act as our over spill dining areas should it be needed.

  • What about allergies (e.g. nuts)?

Please be aware, we are unable to guarantee our foods will be free of allergens (e.g. nuts) .

  • Are we sourcing ingredients locally?

We’re committed to reducing food miles, but we’ve only just launched so it’s early days. In time, with a developed network of local suppliers, we hope to offer local ingredients.

  • Does the Green Room kitchen and staff have necessary food hygiene certifications?

Yes, our kitchen has a 5-star hygiene rating from the local authority and all staff who work in the kitchen are level 2 food safety certified.

  • How do I make a cancellation?

If you need to cancel your booking, you can email canteen@thegreenroomschool.com or call the school (number at bottom of page) and ask to speak with Angel.

  • Can I book for a corporate event?

Sure, as long as we’re able to cater for you (we’re currently limiting each evening to 30 meals)
