Heather Rael

EC Teacher

Heather has lived all over the world in places like Japan and Europe. She grew up with both parents being in the Air Force. She moved to North Carolina from New Mexico in 2011. She lives in Hillsborough with her husband, 2 cats, 3 dogs, and 2 daughters, one is a 7th grader at TES and the other is a senior at ERA. Heather has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico. She taught for 11 years before becoming an EC teacher at TES. When she is not at school, she enjoys reading, watching movies, serving on the board of directors for Alamance Children's Theater, and going to Disney World and spending time with her family.
