WRITING HIGHLIGHTS:
- I self-published my first book in second grade; it was a story about two cherries who fall in love.
- I wrote editorials and columns for my middle school, high school and college newspapers and was editor and founder of One Literary Magazine.
- I performed spoken word in NYC, LA, SF, and Oxford.
- I attended a residency in Ljubljana, Slovenia to immerse myself in Slovenian literature and culture.
- I received my MFA in creative writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
- I received a writing fellowship from the Cullman Center Institute for Teachers at the New York Public Library.
- I mentored high school writers at Girls Write Now.
