The Collaborative has long used community dialogue nights to engage young people and their caring adults in shared conversations around topics of concern for today's youth. If you would like to host a vaping-related dialogue night in your own community, please follow the instructions below. Reach out to info@thecollaborative.us with any questions!
Vaping Slide Decks - Please feel free to copy these materials to use and tailor for your own audience. To make a copy of one of these presentations, click the underlined text in the caption above the presentation, then go to File -> Make a Copy -> Entire Presentation OR Selected Slides, depending on your needs. Slide decks have been created for youth, caring adults, educators, and caring adult and youth (together). As information about vaping and the health risks and impact are updated rapidly, we will make changes as soon as we can!
For Youth: Slide decks geared toward youth education and learning. Appropriate for middle and high school age youth.
For Caring Adults and Youth to View Together: An interactive slide deck activity to be completed together. This informative slide deck has discussion prompts, videos, and is meant to help navigate sometimes awkward and uncomfortable discussions around vaping and other unhealthy habits.
For Caring Adults: Information on caring adults about some of the latest trends, how to navigate critical conversations, and some solution-based approaches to prevention/intervention.
For Educators: Slide deck for forward facing community members with our youth.
