Schools must register for the in-person Festival via the online form on the COBIS website.
All bookings must be made by school staff.
The cost per participant (student or teacher) is £200. In addition to this, each attending school will be charged a COBIS registration fee of £350. Schools will be invoiced in Bahraini Dinar and should arrange for this currency to be transferred.
The participation fee covers competition entry, musical workshops, excursion, catering during the festival days (Friday – Sunday), and transport within the host country (transfers between the airport and accommodation, and the accommodation and event venues). Travel to/from Bahrain, and accommodation within Bahrain is not included in this fee. See accommodation tab for more information.
The closing date for registration is Friday 28 November 2025.
Places will be allocated on a first come-first served basis. If the number of registered schools exceeds the maximum capacity, schools will be placed on a waiting list.
Schools must confirm how many students they would like to bring to the Festival by 19 December 2025. If possible, please provide this information before this date.
If a registered school wishes to withdraw from this competition, they must confirm before 28 November 2025. To cancel a booking, please notify students@cobis.org.uk.
The cost to enter the competition is £40 per student (each student can enter one category only).
Invoices will be issued by The British School of Bahrain during the week commencing 1 December
Schools must pay the participation fee by 19 December 2025. If a school does not pay their fee by this date, their place in the competition will be revoked.
