Job Opening: Instrumental Teacher Position

Overview: 

We are seeking a talented and passionate Instrumental Teacher to join our vibrant music department. As an Instrumental Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and love for music with students, helping them develop their skills and appreciation for instrumental music. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to students' interests, abilities, and learning goals.

• Provide private or group instruction in a variety of instruments, such as piano, guitar, violin, flute, saxophone, or trumpet.

• Teach fundamental techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills to students of all ages and proficiency levels.

• Prepare students for recitals, competitions, auditions, and other performance opportunities.

• Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated to excel and explore their musical potential.

• Collaborate with other music faculty members to develop integrated curriculum and ensemble opportunities.

• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in instrumental pedagogy and music education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field. 

• Demonstrated proficiency in at least one instrument and a strong foundation in music theory and musicianship.

• Previous experience teaching instrumental music to students of diverse backgrounds and ages.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their musical goals and aspirations.

• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and creativity.
