About:
At a school (sometime in the 90s), a traveling book faire (aka Scholastic book faire) has arrived. Four friends, and one “annoying” younger sibling, peruse the books on offer and stumble across an out-of-place, old leather book. They examine it and it transports them to another world, where literary characters live and breathe called Libraria.
As the children embark on their adventure, they encounter whimsical characters from various well-known stories. Each encounter teaches them valuable lessons about friendship, bravery, and the importance of working together.
But they're not alone! A sneaky villain, Barron VonBlank, has made it his mission to erase all literary characters from existence. The children must use their creativity, teamwork, and newfound wisdom to outsmart the Barron and save Libraria.
