Terms and Conditions

Bookings and Cancellations

If you need to cancel your place refunds are as follows:

• More than 28 days before the start - full refund
• After that, if we are able to fill your place we will offer a refund, if not, no refund will be available.

Behaviour

• Whilst we want the attendees to have fun, any disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Attendees may be asked to leave the course. No refund will be available.

Insurance

• We advise all attendees to ensure their instruments are insured. The Summer School accepts no responsibility for damage, wilful or accidental to instruments.

Photography and permissions

• The Summer School will use photographs, video and audio recordings as part of our social media presence. By submitting your application you are consenting for these images to be used. If you would prefer not to be included in our PR material, please let us know.

Health and Safety

• Please ensure you have informed the team of any specific medical conditions your child may have. Members of the team are first aid trained.

Safeguarding

• All staff are DBS registered. Any safeguarding issues will be addressed in accordance with the BCS Safeguarding policy. You can read that here

Activities

• During the course, attendees will have the opportunity to use some of the great facilities here at the School. We will have access to the swimming pool. We will contact you closer to the course with specific information about that. Trained lifeguards will be on duty at all times.

Your privacy

• The data is collected and securely stored to enable us to keep in contact with course attendees
• We will not share your data externally, except name/instrument/standard to tutors to assist in course delivery and as may be required legally by government or law enforcement agencies and tax authorities
• Individuals have the right to view, update and to request removal of information at any time by contacting music@thebluecoatschool.com
