About Dr. Ashlei Evans

What Is Dr. Ashlei's Story?

Dr. Ashlei Evans, a proud native of Houston, Texas, with 3rd-4th generation roots tracing back to Nigeria, has built a dynamic career across various roles as an educator, author, coach, and consultant. Her academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Houston. She further advanced her expertise by earning a Doctorate of Education in Literacy from Sam Houston State University and a Master in Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.

A Journey of Faith and Resilience:

From an early age, Dr. Evans’ life was shaped by both profound challenges and deep faith. Introduced to Christ at the age of five by her mother, she found solace in her relationship with God during times of personal upheaval, including family loss and adversity. These early trials, including the pain of abandonment and abuse, drew her closer to God and instilled in her a passion for education as a means of coping and growing.

Despite the hardships, Dr. Evans excelled academically, finding consistency and purpose in her studies, which eventually led her into teaching and leadership roles. Her journey was marked by a deepening commitment to service, as she took on various leadership roles in church and community settings, including prayer teams, outreach programs, and mentoring others in their spiritual growth.

Founding The Ash Exchange International LLC:

As the founder of The Ash Exchange International LLC, Dr. Evans leads with a mission to embrace, educate, and empower a diverse clientele, including Christian individuals, institutions, ministries, and beyond. Her work is grounded in a foundation of prayer and biblical literacy, while also focusing on leadership development, community building, and global missions. Through this platform, she leverages her diverse educational experience and natural talents to serve the body of Christ in numerous ways, equipping leaders, nurturing healthy communities, and guiding others in their journey to grow in biblical literacy.

God’s Preparation for Global Missions:

Through years of dedicated service and continuous personal and spiritual development, Dr. Evans began to see how God was using her experiences to prepare her for a broader mission. She discerned God’s calling to global missions, beginning with her first mission trip to South Africa in 2017, which ignited a passion for international ministry. This pivotal experience led her to take on roles in the United Arab Emirates, where she not only worked as an educator but also led small groups and mentored others in their faith.

God continued to open doors, leading Dr. Evans to further her education in biblical literacy, which she now uses to equip and disciple church leaders around the world. Her life story is a testament to how God can transform challenges into opportunities for service and how each piece of her journey has been strategically placed to fulfill His purpose.

Ongoing Commitment to Global Missions:

In August 2024, Dr. Evans joined BEE World, initially committing to full-time service in global missions after years of leading and participating in short-term mission trips across Sub-Saharan Africa. She now serves part-time as a course publisher and volunteer facilitator, while expanding her reach through her own nonprofit work. This shift allows her to continue equipping pastors and church leaders globally through biblical education, leadership training, and cross-cultural discipleship—both through BEE World and a growing network of international partnerships.

Passions and Mission:

Dr. Evans is deeply passionate about biblical literacy, global missions, leadership development, and discipleship. She believes in the transformative power of education and mentorship, not just within the church but also across nations. Her work as an educator and administrator at both the EC-12 level in Texas and in the United Arab Emirates, coupled with her life experiences and education, has equipped her to make a significant impact. She continues to dedicate her life to nurturing leaders and communities in their journey to fulfill their God-given purpose, empowered by the resilience and faith that have defined her own life.

Who We Are

B.R.I.D.G.E. Nations International is an independent nonprofit missions organization launched through the vision of The Ash Exchange International. It is currently in the process of filing for official 501(c)(3) status with the IRS. Once approved, all donations will be fully tax-deductible under its own board of directors, governance, and donor structure.

In the interim, B.R.I.D.G.E. Nations partners with trusted sending platforms such as Mission Enablers International to ensure full compliance, donor accountability, and financial transparency for all missionary giving.
