Working alongside Leo Aspite in the Gosford area, I bring more than 37 years of business and leadership experience to The Alternative Board community.

Much of my career was spent with McDonald’s, where I held senior leadership roles across Australia, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. My experience spans marketing, customer insight, menu and product innovation, business strategy and organisational transformation, working with business leaders and franchisees across 38 countries.

During this time, I was involved in developing McCafé into Australia’s largest coffee chain, identifying new products and market opportunities, and helping businesses navigate significant periods of growth and change.

While my career has given me extensive commercial and strategic experience, one of the most important things I’ve learned is that great businesses are ultimately built by people. Business owners and leaders achieve better outcomes when they have clarity about where they are going, are prepared to challenge their thinking, make good decisions and follow through with action.  That belief led me into executive coaching in 2022, where I have focused on helping leaders create positive, sustainable behavioural change and achieve meaningful outcomes.

Today, I combine my coaching experience with my practical business background to facilitate The Alternative Board peer advisory boards and work with business owners and leaders who want to grow their businesses, improve performance and become stronger leaders.

I particularly enjoy helping business owners clarify their strategy, identify growth opportunities, improve their marketing and customer focus, navigate difficult decisions and turn plans into action. My role isn’t to have all the answers, but to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, share relevant experience when it’s useful and help business owners find the right way forward for themselves and their business.
