This course would introduce the fundamental concept of biomimicry and its science under extreme ecological and environmental conditions. It propels students to think about how the knowledge of science in biomimicry can be exploited and used for applied aspects. Students would be exposed to various examples from extreme environmental conditions to demonstrate how organisms adapt to survive for survive for instance, body morphology, physiology to utilize and conserve natural resources and mutual association for existence and perpetuation. The major aim of this course is to lead a stepping-stone for familiarizing the concepts of extreme environments and enable to think in dimensions for designer approaches in the environmental and ecological conditions.
