About Me

Hello,

My name is Chelsea Collar and this is my sixth year teaching and third year at Thales. I am originally from Michigan and moved down to North Carolina to start my teaching career. There, I attended Central Michigan University and received my Bachelors in Education with a major in Science. I then continued my education as I taught, and received my Masters in Education as well. Teaching is really just who I am. I have always wanted to be in this field, and enjoy the work I do immensely. Outside of work, I have an amazing husband, Alex, and a sweet 14 month old named Elliott. I am coming over here from the Apex K-5 building, where I taught 5^th grade and I am very excited about this new change. Middle School is my favorite place to teach. I believe in establishing strong relationships with my students and I promise to work hard with them this year to ensure their success.
