8 June 2026 - Paraparaumu College Open Day

Our current Year 8 students who plan on attending Paraparaumu College in 2027 have been invited to an Open Day on Monday 8 June 2026 from 9:30am to 12:30pm.  If you child plans on attending the Open Day can you please let Rachael know for attendance purposes on the day.  Please note this is not a school event and as such we will not be sending a teacher.  Please arrange your own transportation and supervision of your child for the Open Day.  

10 June 2026 - Paraparaumu College Open Evening

17 June 2026 - Kapiti College Open Day

The Kapiti College Open Day is on Wednesday 17 June 2026. There are two sessions available, and your child only needs to attend one if they plan on attending Kapiti College in 2027:
Session 1: 9:30am – 11:30am
Session 2: 12:30pm – 2:30pm
You can choose whichever session works best for you and your child.
Transport & Supervision: Kapiti College does not provide transport to or from the Open Day. Parents are responsible for organising transport and supervision for their child, as a Te Horo School teacher will not be present.
School Absence: Please let the school office know if your child will be attending so their absence can be marked correctly.
Kapiti College needs a headcount, so please let Danielle know if your child is attending and which session they will be at. 

17 June 2026 - Kapiti College Information Evening

Students and parents are invited to attend their open evening, on Wednesday, 17th June.
At 6pm, families can attend a presentation by our Principal, David Lowe in Manawanui-Manawaroa (Larger School Gymnasium) before participating in a guided tour of the school.  Interested families can also attend a presentation on their Dyslexic/Neurodiverse presentation 5.30-6 pm in A7.

23 June 2026 - Otaki College Information Session at Te Horo School

You are invited to an information evening at Te Horo School in the staffroom, led by Otaki College at 6pm on Thursday 23rd July.  Please let Danielle know if you are attending so that we can ensure we have enough seating.  This session will be lead by Otaki College staff.

27 July 2026 - Otaki College Open Afternoon and Open Evening

This year, Otaki Open Day/Evening will be held on Monday the 27th of July. This will follow the same format as 2025, with an afternoon session for our incoming Year 9 students. The Open Evening will be on the same night, kicking off at 6pm.   Otaki College provides transport from Te Horo School to Otaki College so it is important to let Danielle know if your child is attending so that we can ensure we have enough transport.  Danielle will also be attending with the students.

22 September 2026 - Kapiti College Options Day

If your child is enrolled at Kapiti College you will recieve information about this directly from the college.  Please let the office know of your child's absence on the day.

1 December 2026 - Paraparaumu College Amazing Race

If you child is attending Paraparaumu College in 2027 the school will send information to you directly.  Please note this is not a school event and as such we will not be sending a teacher.  Please arrange your own transportation and supervision of your child for the Amazing Race.  Please also let Rachael know if your child will be attending so their absence can be recorded correctly.
