Google Hangouts and Meet

An excellent resource for teachers is Video chat. This is so useful for connecting to other classrooms around the world, across your country or to allow students who cannot be in class into your class.

Some settings may need to be enabled in the admin console as outlined in the doc at the bottom of this page.

Through September 30, 2020, G Suite customers can use advanced Google Meet video conference features, such as larger meetings (up to 250 participants), live streaming, and recording. After September 30, Google Meet functionality will revert to G Suite Basic, Business, Nonprofits, or Education based on the customer’s edition. However, recorded meetings will stay in the respective owner’s Drive.
