Convention Format
On Thursday, we will include some traditional convention elements: corporate worship, two keynote sessions and FOOD. But what will be a bit different this year is that between the keynotes, teachers will spend two hours in cross-school working groups planning learning experiences grounded in a Christian worldview. School leaders will have their own sessions on leading change led by Darryl deBoer.
On Friday, we will follow the typical PCCE convention format, with two workshop time slots during which participants will select the sessions they wish to attend.
In previous years, teachers have signed up for TFT 101 when registering for Convention. TFT 101 this year will be taking place on Wednesday, October 18th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Covenant Christian School. TFT 101 will then continue throughout the school year.
The other dates for TFT will be:
November 23, 2023 (ZOOM)
March 12-13 2024 (in person - location TBD)
There is no registration cost for TFT 101 for PCCE Members. Participants will be served a lunch and light refreshments. Schools will be responsible for arranging travel and any classroom coverage.
