SVCF has opened up a 2nd round of Abby Sobrato Scholarships! Anyone who didn't apply or applied and did not receive a scholarship is encouraged to apply.

Requirements - Must have a 2.5 GPA and plan to enroll in a 2-year college, 4-year college or vocational school
Applications are due on May 31st

Check your school email. An interest form will be sent on Wednesday March 17, 2021 at 3pm!
We only have 35 seats for TFHE students so we will honor the first 35 students who complete the interest form.

Summer Coding Leadership Academy
TRiO is excited to share their 6-week summer program!
Through the summer program, you will enroll in and earn college credit for an EVC counseling course. Additionally, you will also participate in college preparation workshops which will cover topics such as college systems and financial aid. There will also be staff available to assist incoming seniors with PIQ drafts.
Summer Program Details -
June 14-July22
Schedule –
Mon to Thu
9-11:30AM – Couns 14 (College Success) – UC/CSU Transferable 3 unit course
11:30-1:30PM – College and financial aid workshops, enrichment activities
OPEN to incoming 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders
To sign up, you will need to fill out the google form: TRiO 2021 Summer College Prep Program. After completing the google form, you will be sent additional steps that need to be complete. Deadline to fill out the google form is by Wednesday, May 5th.

Types of Colleges & Degrees
In November, 9th & 10th Graders will be learning about how to explore their interests and discover their strengths! They will fill out a survey so we can learn more about their career interests and find the right resources for them. Please encourage your child to also fill out the Career Interest Profiler at CaliforniaColleges.edu, so they can learn more about their likes and dislikes, and see some potential careers to consider!
