Robert W. Graves, President – Graves has been an adherent of the Pentecostal faith for over 53 years and has held positions of leadership in and has taught in Pentecostal churches and at Southwestern Assemblies of God College, a Pentecostal institution. He is the author of numerous articles and one book related to the Pentecostal experience, Praying in the Spirit (updated and enlarged 2016); he is the editor and compiler of The Kingdom Case against Cessationism (2022), Strangers to Fire: When Tradition Trumps Scripture (2014), and the following three works by Paul Elbert: Essays in Biblical Studies (2021), The Lukan Gift of the Holy Spirit (2021), and Luke's Rhetorical Compositions (2022); his articles have appeared in Paraclete: A Journal Concerning the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit, Pentecostal Evangel, Church of God Evangel, Moody Monthly, Christian Parenting Today, Encounter, Advance, Pneuma Review, and others. He is also the author of The Gospel according to Angels. He is a member of The Church At Acworth, an independent Charismatic/Pentecostal congregation, and the Society for Pentecostal Studies.
Stephen B. Gossett, Treasurer – A Christian since early childhood, Mr. Gossett has been a member of Roswell Assembly of God, a Pentecostal church, since 1988. For much of that time he has served as church pianist, adult Sunday School teacher, and a deacon. Twice he has been honored to serve as the chairman of pastoral search committees. At present, he serves as a church Elder. A native Floridian, Mr. Gossett is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. During his professional career, he has worked in public relations, advertising, and marketing communications as a writer, photographer, and graphic designer for various governmental, non-profit, religious, educational, and business projects. In 1980 he and his wife Elaine co-founded Image Makers Marketing, through which they primarily service the commercial construction industry. They reside in Metro Atlanta, Georgia.
C. Scott Johnson, Secretary – Mr. Johnson has been a Christian, church member, and Spirit-baptized believer for over 35 years. During his Christian life, he has served in numerous leadership positions including teacher, youth director, co-founder of a new church, and several terms as Deacon. He has a keen interest in scholarship related to the Pentecostal faith and has assisted in related research projects and is currently principal of Southern Strategic Solutions, LLC, a business-to-business consulting firm. He has served as a member of the State Board of Education for ten years as appointed by two Georgia Governors. Mr. Johnson is a father and grandfather and resides with his wife in Marietta, Georgia, where he is very active in various political and community leadership pursuits.
