Weekly PLANS

You can find an overview of next week's lessons in Google Classroom.  They are posted weekly and updated daily as needed.  If your child is absent, you can check the slides to see the classroom assignments scheduled for that day.  Please remember that since there is no additional homework being assigned each night,  the children are encouraged to use  XtraMath, Readworks or Epic, and Gimkit to practice their math and reading skills.  Their passwords can be found in their student planner.  I would recommend using Clever to log in (which can be accessed once students log in to their Google account any device using their student username and password).  Links and other resources can also be found on the daily slides in Google Classroom.  Please see Mr. Harding's weekly S'More for upcoming CES events.

Remember that you may visit Google Classroom any time to see the weekly plans posted.  This will come in handy if students are absent, as they can sometimes access the material at home and attempt to keep up with some of the assignments.  There you will also see options for reading at home and for math fact practice.  If an assignment is marked with a 🏡, this means that it can be done at home as well.  As always, extra help is offered on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30-8:45 a.m.

Last year I found families really appreciated my video tutorials for technology, so I am including a few favorites below that may come in handy in the next few weeks.  Don't worry if you have no idea what they mean right now...you will!  Never hesitate to reach out for assistance, and don't be afraid to tell me about mistakes on my end.  We are in this together!  😀
