I am excited to welcome your child to Team 7/8D Science!

Middle school is an important transition period, as your child will soon be entering high school just one or two years from now!

Therefore as a team we set high academic and behavioral expectations that must be met in order for every child to receive the education he/she deserves. Each child on Team 7/8D is expected to be on time, sit in his/her assigned seat, participate appropriately and come prepared to class every day.

Being prepared for class means that we expect students to have their homework completed EVERY DAY!

If a student has not completed their homework to the satisfaction of the teacher, there will be a note of some type in the agenda for that day.

The agenda should be checked/signed every night, as this is an important means of communication between home and school.

Homework assignments can be found on Aspen for both 7th and 8th grade, so if there is an absence the homework can still be completed on time. Students will also be using Google class for a number of assignments as well. Students will be using a new science text this year. There is also an online text book that accompanies it, so students will not have to bring text books home at any time. All students will be set up with a username and password by the end of the first week of class.
