Make a list of all the books you read (on Epic or offline) and the date you read it. This will be your reading log. Take a picture of it and post it in Seesaw!

1st Grade Math

Standards: NC.1.NBT.1 Count to 150, starting at any number less than 150.
NC.1.NBT.2 Read and write numerals, and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.

Olin was counting his legos to see how many he had. 91, 92, 93….oh no, Olin lost count! Help Olin finish counting and don’t stop until you get to 150!

Too easy? Try these different numbers to start counting at (76)(65)(42).

Write down or record yourself counting the numbers that come next and post your work to Seesaw!



August loves Pokemon cards and he just got some new ones! He adds them to his collection and counts them. Now he has 27 cards. Can you find 27 things in your house or outside that are the same? (Ex: coins, crayons, counters)

Too easy? Try to find another collection of things to count and try to count to these numbers (50)(75)(90).

Take pictures of your collections and post them on Seesaw!



Nani has a pile of 12 mini unicorns. Does she have enough to make 10? If she does, how many will she have left over?

Wynn and Iris were playing a game. Wynn threw a ball 10 yards. Then, Iris threw the ball 10 yards farther than Wynn. How far did Iris throw the ball?

Once you figure that out, use the next set of numbers to do a new problem.

Sharon loves to go on hikes. She found 5 arrowheads on the first hill. Then she found 15 more at the top of the hill. How many did she find all together?

Go outside and find 6 of the same kinds of things (rocks, sticks, acorns, etc...) Then find 14 more. How many do you have? Now, show how many ways you can group them to make the same total you had to begin with.
