The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region XII has successfully conducted the ceremonial awarding of Certificate of Scholarship Commitment to ten (10) Indigenous People (IPs) beneficiaries representing the 241 IPs beneficiaries in Region XII last May 2, 2018 at the Provincial Planning and Development Office Conference Hall of South Cotabato Province.

This is in line with the partnership between TESDA and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) through the Special Skills Training Program implemented by TESDA with the goal of empowering the Indigenous Peoples and Cultural Communities that will soon help them to stabilize their lives in the near future.

The ceremony was graced by Hon. Fulong Edgar G. Sambong, the Indigenous People Mandatory Representative (IPMR) of South Cotabato Province, Ms. Bo-I Era C. España, NCIP Commisioner for Central Mindanao, Mr. Joel L. Bogay, OIC Regional Director of NCIP XII, Engr. Benigno O. Aquino, ROD Chief of TESDA XII, Engr. Talib R. Bayabao, TESDA XII Provincial Director of South Cotabato, and Engr. Reynaldo L. Bernal, Supervising TESD Specialist of Sultan Kudarat Province.
