Kapatagan, Northern Mindanao, July 30, 2024 — The TESDA Provincial Training Center in Lanao del Norte recently hosted a momentous event—the grand mass graduation for trainees who successfully completed various technical and vocational qualifications. The Kapatagan Municipal Gymnasium was abuzz with excitement as 146 graduates proudly received their certificates, marking the culmination of their hard work and dedication.

Trainers Methodology Level 1: As future educators, these graduates have honed their skills in instructional design, facilitation, and assessment. They are poised to inspire and empower the next generation of learners.
Bookkeeping NC III: With a solid foundation in financial management and record-keeping, these graduates are essential for maintaining accurate financial records in various organizations.

The graduation ceremony was graced by distinguished guests who shared their wisdom and encouragement with the graduates. SB Perlito Gonzaga, representing the local government unit (LGU), delivered an inspirational message. TESDA PO-LDN Provincial Director Norayah A. Acas, JD, also addressed the audience. Director Acas commended the graduates for their resilience and commitment to excellence. She highlighted the role of technical education in nation-building and encouraged the graduates to continue their professional development.
As the graduates tossed their mortarboards into the air, the atmosphere was charged with hope and anticipation. Many have already secured employment, while others plan to start their own ventures. TESDA PTC – Lanao del Norte successfully conducted the Groundbreaking Ceremony in Villa Elena, Poblacion, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte today, January 23, 2024. The rationale for organizing this ceremony is threefold: to symbolize the commencement of the building construction, to express gratitude for the generous donation of the site by Mayor Barry Y. Baguio, and to engage stakeholders in the shared vision of advancing education and skills development in the region. The program started with the preliminaries with the Opening Prayer and National Anthem in Audio Presentation.
The participants and dignitaries were acknowledged by Center Administrator Abdul-Azis L. Ayunan, who also gave the welcome address. It was followed by an appreciation message from TESDA X Regional Director Dan M. Navarro, who underscored the constituents of Kapatagan as PTC-LDN’s main priority in scholarship implementation.
Another dignitary in attendance was the LDN Provincial Governor representative and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Ma. Cristina N. Atay who relayed during her message, the Province’s excitement for the milestone of Skills Training in Lanao del Norte through the TESDA PTC-LdN. The Provincial Director of TESDA PO LdN, PD Norayah A. Acas gave her insights during her message, about this Groundbreaking Ceremony of PTC-LdN and the depths of its implication for the people of Lanao del Norte.
During his message, the generous Mayor of Kapatagan, Hon. Barry Y. Baguio responded by saying that TESDA is such a blessing for their year 2024 and that he emphasized his full support to the endeavors of PTC-Lanao del Norte. The Groundbreaking Ceremony commenced as the guests wore the safety helmets and held the shovels while digging the soil ceremoniously to bury the time capsule. The event was formally ended by a closing message delivered by Engr. Clifford Ryan D. Galenzoga, PTC-LdN Senior TESD Specialist.
This Groundbreaking Ceremony was a long-awaited milestone for the TESDA PTC-Lanao del Norte Family and it finally happened thanks to the Stakeholders and LGU-Kapatagan. Onward to 2024!
