FEATURE │ TESDA DI participates DOLE's Information and Service Caravan on Child Labor
Brgy. Carmen, Loreto, Dinagat Islands – In support of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Dinagat Islands' Information and Service Caravan on Child Labor, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Dinagat Islands actively participated in the initiative held on February 20, 2025, in Brgy. Carmen, Loreto.
The event aimed to raise awareness on child labor, educate the community on existing government programs, and provide free services to support affected families. Representatives from DOLE, local government units, and other partner agencies joined the caravan, underscoring a collaborative approach to addressing child labor concerns in the province.
As part of its commitment to skills development and community welfare, TESDA Dinagat Islands provided free services, including:
✔ Free Haircut Services – Helping children and adults maintain personal grooming and confidence.
✔ Free Massage Services – Offering relaxation and wellness benefits to community members.
These services were warmly received by the locals, many of whom expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided.
