On December 4, 2024, twenty-three (23) scholars enrolled in the 7th batch of the Bread and Pastry Production NC II program, supported by the 5th Congressional District of Bulacan, showcased their skills in a Pastry Buffet Presentation. The event was attended by Ms. Kathrine Angeles, Center Administrator of TESDA KPITTC, and Dir. Melanie Grace Romero of TESDA Bulacan Provincial Office.
This presentation highlighted the practical skills and creativity of the scholars, who were trained to produce in-trend pastry products suitable for a startup business. The event showcased the quality of training provided by the TESDA KPITTC.
The Regional Tech4ED Awards 2024 and Partnership Summit, held on December 3, 2024, at Bulacan State University e-Library, celebrated partnerships driving digital transformation in Central Luzon. Key messages from officials, including Engr. Mario Antonio V. Aya-ay, DICT-Bulacan Provincial Head emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing ICT skills and digital literacy. TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center-Bulacan was recognized and awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for its strong support as partner in the initiative and its role in empowering communities through digital education. As part of the growing partnership, TESDA KorPhil-Bulacan is also currently training Web Development NC III including DICT Region 3 employees, further enhancing their technical skills.
Representing TESDA KorPhil at the event were Dr. Christine Irish Castillo, Vocational Instruction Supervisor, and Ms. Rizzalynne Molina, Partnership Focal, who actively participated in the said activity. The awarding ceremony honored outstanding Tech4ED Centers and partners like TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center-Bulacan for their contributions to digital growth and learning opportunities. The event concluded with a networking reception, providing attendees an opportunity to connect and strengthen partnerships for a more inclusive digital future.
On November 14, 2024, TESDA KorPhil Bulacan and Longos Elementary School – Balagtas Division, established a partnership in a ceremonial signing of Memorandum of Agreement attended by TESDA KorPhil Bulacan Center Administrator Ms. Kathrine R. Angeles, Scholarship Focal Ms. Dennie E. Domingo, Longos Elementary School Head Teacher III Mr. Rodbert M. Santos and Administrative Officer II Ms. Jade Discipulo.
The collaboration aimed to create a partnership arrangement that will produce a wide range of benefits between TESDA KorPhil Bulacan and Longos Elementary School – Balagtas Division through technical assistance, collaborative research, staff development, employment opportunities, and curriculum review.
2. On November 14, 2024, staffs of TESDA KorPhil Bulacan and DOST III - PSTO Bulacan conducted a site visit for their initial orientation with the Balaong Kabisig Farmers Association and ocular evaluation of their municipal-based processing facilities and essential equipment in Sitio Sulucan, Balaong, San Miguel, Bulacan.
The activity was attended by TESDA KorPhil Bulacan Community-Based Training & Scholarship Focal Ms. Dennie E. Domingo, and Partnership Focal Ms. Rizzalynne C. Molina. DOST III - PSTO Bulacan Provincial Director Ms. Angelita Q. Parungao, Senior Science Research Specialist Ms. Aira Ronalie P. Santos, Science Research Specialist I Mr. John Adams R. Aguilera, and Project Technical Assistant I Mr. Neil Granado were also present.

The event was graced by the Center Administrator of TESDA KPITTC, Ms. Kathrine Angeles, TESDA Bulacan Provincial Office, Dir. Melanie Grace Romero and from the District V Office, Mr. George Villaluna.
This presentation not only demonstrated the practical skills and creativity of the scholars but also emphasized the quality of training provided under the TWSP. It served as a platform to connect with industry professionals and showcase the potential of the program's graduates in the field of Bread and Pastry Production.
On October 28, 2024, TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center (KPITTC), headed by Center Administrator Kathrine R. Angeles, successfully hosted the Training Induction Program (TIP) for Bread and Pastry Production NC II Batch 3. This training program is through the support of Office of the 5th Congressional District of Bulacan under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP), marks a significant step in empowering 23 talented individuals.
The event was graced by the presence of District Internal Representative Ms. Rosalinda B. Mateo, who extended her warm congratulations to the scholarship beneficiaries. KPITTC staff warmly welcomed the scholars, inspiring them to embrace this journey of skill acquisition and future opportunities.
On August 29, 2024, twenty-five (25) beneficiaries of the District 2 Congressional Office of Congresswoman Augustina Dominique “Ditse” Pancho who took the Bread and Pastry Production NC II program under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), showcased their skills in a Pastry Presentation. The scholars prepared variety of delicacies such as boat tarts, chocolate cakes, brownies, caramel bars, and more, demonstrating not only their technical skills but also their artistic ability in decorating their creations. The event was attended by the TESDA Bulacan Provincial Director PD Melanie Grace T. Romero, TESDA KPITTC Center Administrator Ms. Kathrine R. Angeles, and representatives from PESO Plaridel, Bulacan. This presentation highlighted the quality of training provided and underscored TESDA's dedication, alongside its partners, to developing talent and fostering industry connections in the field of Bread and Pastry Production.
On August 5, 2024, the TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center, led by Center Administrator Kathrine R. Angeles and her team, along with Provincial Director of TESDA Bulacan, PD Melanie Grace Romero, welcomed the newly appointed TESDA Region III Regional Director, Baron Jose Lagran. Upon his arrival at the Korphil building, Director Lagran was immediately impressed by the institution’s modern and innovative atmosphere, enhanced by advanced IT marketing equipment displayed prominently at the entrance. The visit highlighted the center’s commitment to cutting-edge technology and IT education.
During the tour, Ms. Angeles provided a detailed overview of the center’s strategic goals. She emphasized plans to expand their IT curriculum, including the registration of new courses in Visual Graphics Design NC III and Cybersecurity. These additions aim to strengthen the center's focus on providing high-quality, relevant IT training that meets the demands of the evolving tech industry. Director Lagran expressed strong support for these initiatives and encouraged the team to expedite the process for implementing these new programs, recognizing their potential to enhance the center’s impact in the field of information technology.
On August 08, 2024, the TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center, under the Center Administrator Kathrine R. Angeles, conducted the Training Induction Program (TIP) for Bread and Pastry Production NC II. Through the support of the Office of the 2nd Congressional District, this training was granted under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP). During the event, KPITTC staff together with the twenty-five (25) scholarship beneficiaries welcomed the 2nd District Representative of Bulacan Hon. Augustina Dominique "Ditse Tina" C. Pancho, and the PESO Manager of Plaridel Ms. Alma Lucas.
The PESO manager specified that during the selection of scholars, priority was given to citizens who have completed the Alternative Learning System (ALS), with the aim of supporting them in building their own businesses. This initiative is part of a broader effort to empower individuals who have pursued non-traditional education pathways, providing them with the necessary skills and resources to become successful entrepreneurs.
On July 5, 2024, the TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center, under the leadership of Center Administrator Kathrine R. Angeles, conducted the Training Induction Program (TIP) for Technical Drafting NC II. This program is part of the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP). Nineteen (19) scholars from various municipalities of Bulacan participated the said activity. The TIP aimed to provide the scholars with a comprehensive understanding of the scholarship program, including its objectives, requirements, and the opportunities it offers.
The TESDA Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center Bulacan, one of the training institutions in Region III under the leadership of Regional Director Toni June A. Tamayo, forged a partnership in a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region III headed by Regional Director Engr. Antonio Edward E. Padre, on July 3, 2024, at the TESDA 3 Regional Office.
The partnership aims to provide ICT awareness, literacy, and skills development across all sectors of the Philippine society on new, emerging, and existing technologies. This initiative will also help raise awareness, skills training, and competency across all sectors of the Philippine society using DICT and TESDA-developed and acquired courseware.
Also present during the MOA signing were TESDA KorPhil Bulacan's ICT Focal and Vocational Instruction Supervisor, Prof. Christine Irish C. Castillo, Partnership & Linkages Focal Ms. Rizzalynne C. Molina, DICT Region 3 OIC Chief for Technical Operations Division Engr. Mario Antonio V. Aya-ay, Information Systems Researcher II Mr. Mark Kenneth Dionision, and DTC Bulacan Center Manager Ms. Roselle Gennet Dalupang.
TESDA Korea-Philippines IT Training Center-Bulacan headed by the Center Administrator Kathrine R. Angeles, conducted the training induction program of the fifteen (15) trainees under the CTB Program “Basic Security Systems Installation” on February 12, 2024.
With an objective of fortifying the building security of the TESDA Korea-Philippines IT Training Center, the institution aims to establish a secure environment ensuring the continuity of training programs and protecting the reputation of the training center and to give opportunities to trainees with hands-on and practical exposure to the installation, maintenance, and associated skills of security systems.
