Amazing day and welcome to the official website of the Northern Mindanao School of Fisheries, located in Barangay Matabao, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte. As the School Administrator, I am proud to share our vision for the next six years (2023-2028) as we strive to transform into a Polytechnic Institute dedicated to innovation and excellence in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs.

Our mission is to provide dynamic and inclusive TVET programs that cater to our target stakeholders, promoting social equity and contributing to poverty reduction.

At the Northern Mindanao School of Fisheries, we are committed to nurturing professional growth, maximizing our students' potential, and supporting diverse learning opportunities. We foster a culture of excellence through advanced technology, community service, innovative education, industry linkages, outcome-based research, and the development of essential numeracy and communication skills.

Our Goals:

1. Model and showcase TVET through state-of-the art technology: This is showcasing TVET excellence by establishing a TVET Innovation Center focused on Fish Culture and Fish Processing, equipped with SMART facilities. We will also develop and implement joint training programs with industry partners and create in-house courseware for the TESDA Online Program.

2. Develop competent and employable graduates in 2028: By 2028, we aspire to develop competent and employable graduates by offering higher-level qualifications that meet industry standards.

3. Produce competent manpower through advanced training and technology: We are committed to producing skilled manpower through advanced training and technology, supported by the institutionalization of our human resource programs.

4.Equip the learners with lifelong skills form job readiness: We will equip our learners with lifelong skills essential for employment and job readiness by providing comprehensive student support services.

5. Adapt green practices in the curriculum, programs and services: We are dedicated to adapting sustainable practices through the implementation of a greening TVET system, alongside conducting relevant research and outreach campaigns.
