A Total of 75 trainees graduated from Electrical and Electronic and Tourism (Hotel and Restaurant) Sector. The event was graced by our beloved Acting Provincial Director of TESDA, Carlito F. Quintano, Hon. Edsel Tutor, Municipal Counselor of Jagna and our very own Center administrator sir Apolinar P. Cadeliña. Hon. Edsel Tutor and Acting Provincial Director of TESDA, Carlito Quintano shared same advice to the graduates that they must give value to their skills and must seek a job after their graduation. In addition to this, Carlito F. Quintano told them to join the Local and Overseas Job Fair on November 30, 2019 at the Bohol Cultural Center for them to get employed. In other hand, Apolinar P. Cadeliña expounded that their skills needs to be enhanced in the field because learning is a continued process which will be drained overtime, if not practiced. He also added that this is not the end of their journey but the beginning of the first chapter of success in their life.
July 16, 2019 was a gloomy weather for it rained so hard. Despite the bad weather, the PTC Jagna employees were still excited to report to work for it was a special day. Why special? For we are expecting a visit from our beloved Regional Director, Atty. Andrew Bido!
RD Atty. Bido arrived at around 9:30 in the morning. PTC- Jagna employees, headed by PTC- Jagna Center Administrator, Mr. Apolinar Cadeliña, welcomed them with a big smiles on our faces. We then formally introduced ourselves as well as RD Atty. Bido and company. They were Mr. Wilkie Reroma- RO7 Supervising TESD Specialist, Mr. Marlou G. Parra- RO7 ORD, Mr. Michael Sierra- RO7 TESDA RTC and of coarse Atty. Andrew Bido- our very own RO7 Regional Director. We took a picture with them for documentation and never expected RD himself to take a selfie photo with us.
Satisfied with the meal, RD Atty. Bido decided to have a tour inside the training center. Led by Mr. Cadeliña, they began to walk in and entered the ongoing classes of EIM NC II and BPP NC II. The RD introduced himself to the trainees and gave a brief inspirational message for them. After the instantaneous tour, we the PTC Jagna employees together with RD Atty. Bido gathered at the office of the Center Administrator for a short meeting. RD Atty. Bido asked if there is any vacant lot for Agriculture since one of the directives of Secretary Lapeña is to have registered programs on Agriculture. Mr Cadeliña diligently answered that he will coordinate with the Department of Agriculture in Jagna and have a Memorandum of Agreement with them. He will try his best to make this proposal possible.
Around 11:00 am, RD Atty. Andrew Bido and his company bid us goodbye for they still have to visit PTC Pilar. It was an honor to meet the Regional Director and shake hands with him. We look forward for his next visit to discuss further things which will help for the betterment of PTC Jagna.
