OKAY, before we head back to Terrell, have have to snap a band photo!
Before heading back home from our exciting spring trip, we’ll make one final stop at the beautiful Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park near The Galleria. This iconic Houston landmark features a massive, semi-circular fountain with water cascading down 64-foot-tall walls, creating a stunning backdrop for photos.
Dress comfortable!
We’ll also be making a stop at The Galleria, one of the largest and most popular shopping destinations in Houston. This multi-level mall offers a wide variety of stores, from popular retail brands to unique specialty shops, giving students plenty of options to explore, shop, and spend time with friends.
In addition to shopping, the Galleria is home to a large indoor ice skating rink, which sits right in the center of the mall—making it a fun and unique feature students can check out while they’re there. There are also plenty of dining options available, from quick snacks to full meals, so students will have a chance to grab something they enjoy.
Students will be given $20 that will be encouraged to be used for food as we won't make another food stop before arriving back to Terrell, Tx. Students are encouraged to bring spending money if they would like to shop, eat, or purchase souvenirs during this stop. It’s a great opportunity to relax, explore, and enjoy some free time before continuing on our trip!
