Research Paper

This paper is on the use of anthelmintics in the horse industry. I researched the dangers of the overuse of the anthelmintics to treat horses suffering from large amounts of parasites. I also discuss the importance of using preventive measures of horses becoming infested parasites to a dangerous degree through the use of proper parasite management practices. This paper was done in my horse management class, and allowed me to gain a better understanding of the industry, and poor practices still being done. In order to change these practices, leadership is needed. Leaders must guide horse owners towards preventive measures before anthelmintics used today become useless.
