Our Goal
Our Goal
By mapping the link between day-to-day stress and learning, and using real-time heart rate variability & salivary biomarkers, we aim to identify the optimal learning window for college students with ASD.
In general, college is stressful. However, for college students with ASD, these stressors can be exacerbated due to biological factors. By bridging biology and education, we aim to provide an intervention that helps college students with Autism Spectrum Disorder succeed at higher rates.
Currently there is very little research on the prevelancy of ASD in college enviornments. In our research we hope to continue to understand the perspectives of students with ASD in college.
