The pavilion focuses on the role of reflection through the establishment of light and the fusion between private and public spaces. The design presents multiple spaces that provide a moment of reflection based on what the individual is seeking. The open spaces allow for public reflection, while the cut out spaces delineated by walls create private and intimate spaces for reflection. Private reflection is seen as a personal experience either between individuals, one's inner-self, or an individual and nature/light. The bench in front of the reflection pool invites a point of contemplation surrounded by nature and light.
